The single largest U. S. residential sale price to date: $175 million. The record was set at the end of November when the Forbes Ranch changed hands. Trinchera Ranch, which is the largest privately deeded ranch in Colorado, was formerly owned by the late Malcolm Forbes who used the property as a corporate retreat.
